Letts A-Level Biology Revision Notes. Brodie, M. 1998. Letts

This revision guide has a brief section on evolution, containing very little evidence and no alternative views.
Evolution describes a very long series of gradual changes which have taken place, resulting in the vast range of present-day species…Evidence for evolution comes from studies into the geographic distribution of organisms, comparative anatomy, taxonomy, embryology, cell biology and palaeontology. (p. 28)

In its 'suggested further reading' the guide lists two books by Richard Dawkins: The Selfish Gene and The Blind Watchmaker

Quote

It is wrong that any debate, especially on so momentous a subject as the origin of species, and the human race above all, should be arbitrarily declared to be closed.
Paul Johnson (The Spectator, 27 August 2005)
